Lip plumping involves injecting a natural or synthetic material into the lips to make them fuller and to reduce small, fine wrinkles around the mouth. In some cases, the surgeon will use collagen or some of the patient's own fat from another area on the body to create the desired result. Some injectables available are AlloDerm, Gore-Tex, SoftForm and soft ePTFE.
