"Mini" Face Lift

The Upper Face Lift "Mini" Procedure can be an excellent alternative to a full face lift.

The mini face lift (technically known as an SMAS or S-lift) addresses problems with sagging jowls and often deep crease lines between the nose and mouth (nasolabial fold lines). If your neck is not your problem and you have minimal looseness of the skin in the neck, then you are an excellent candidate for a mini face lift.

The upper face lift procedure is less invasive than a full face lift and incisions are less extensive.

During the procedure the skin itself is not only tightened, but just as importantly the lower layers (collectively known as the SMAS or Sub Muscular Aponeurotic System) are also tightened.

The post-operative recovery is relatively short and typically painless. Most people will return to social activities or work after one week.

In summary, the upper face lift "mini" procedure can rejuvenate the face to a wonderfully youthful and harmonious contour without a full face lift and with much less recovery time.
